A poem about one of many ways to get to know someone, but they don't always survive.....

Lets Get To Know Each Other...

Your screams provide a feast to my ears,

Your blood tells secrets of your deepest fears.

Your eyes lead way to a trembling charade,

Sanguine flaws seeping down your façade.

This has come to my favorite part,

When my soul smashes your fragile heart.

I guess my mentality was to headstrong for you,

Tearing your fading mind into two.

Don’t die on my now you weak soul,

Why must it be me to learn self-control?

I’ve gotten to know my friend this time,

But still other people call it a crime.

Very dark and sadistic... I like it ;) A few hiccups in the flow (second to last stanza), but otherwise a well written poem. Cheers!

Thank you! I'll look at altering that line.

Thanks, I try to make my poetry something deeper, not like an open book so to speak. I get a lot of my concepts from criminology, trying to think like a certain type of person.
I'm glad you like it!
