Locked away, in what reminds me of a gilded cage.

Black long hair and bright green eyes.

Drawings of blue skies and butterflies

Shys away from living things and the goodbyes.

Afraid of the outside world incase she is desised.

She asks he captures why she must hide.

But they never answer.

And one day she gets a cell mate.

A boy, short black hair and bright green eyes.

She asks if he knows the answer to her question.

And he utters the words so quietly she wasnt sure if she heard them right.

Because what makes us different makes us dangerous.

And then they just sat there is comfortable silence.

Until one day they stood to fight.

To fight for the right to have a real life.

One outside the gilded cage.

One where you were as free as a bird,

and could fly away.
