The feelings of a girl who repeatedly gets hurt by all the lies and deception by the people she's closest to.

Again and again
Lies and more
The damage, the pain
Stretches ocean deep,

Like a knife plunged deep,
Like a bullet shot,
In heart
A murder,
Cold, bitter and hard.

Always the worst,
According to them.
Shouldering the blames,
The weighty choices.
Her heart tears,
For she knew she tried,
so hard.

She wept and hurt but,
Promised to be stronger
The morning or the next.
Still, she couldn't fathom
Why people could be so
Ugly within.

And then
The sad truth,
She'll never belong.
Could only hope the wounds heal.
