Now you've gone, I feel empty without you by my side,
Time to wonder, time to think; you're always on my mind.
I wish for you to return to my arms; just come back home,
'Til then, I imagine you here so I no longer feel alone.
Since you left home, in bed I've held your t-shirt tight,
Words cannot describe what I'd do to have you here tonight.
Looking at your pictures makes my pulse come to a race,
Yet in my stomach, there's nothing but a space.
I yearn for your touch; hands caressing my skin,
Remembering the moments shared which have not long been.
When the wind blows on my neck, I long for your breath,
Wishing for you to be here, my heart loses strength.
As in my heart I know what I wish isn't true;
When I turn around, what I see won't be you.
I'm unsure if I should tell you how I feel as it may scare you away,
But if I tell you the truth it may urge you to stay.
Telling people my emotions has always led me to pain,
I'm persistant not to lose you; this can't happen again.
