Summary

A poem I wrote a couple years ago. I found it in a notebook I used to keep of all my writing. I hope you enjoy!

Oh broken October

My sweetly dead

I want nothing more than to feel your touch

Hear your words once again

My beautifully broken October

The last words dying on my lips

Tell me how to return to your sweet emptiness

To the silent words

Speak to me of silence

Listen to my tears

Oh, sweet October

I long to be as broken as you

Maybe then I can stop feeling for you

Maybe then I can be still

And lie in my own shattered perfection
