Haikus are simple
Poems that show emotions 
I love them that way

I love them that way 5

A total of seventeen syllables
I but this in several checker and it confirmed it is a haiku.
You can correct me if I’m wrong. I don’t mind the criticism.

I've never heard poems pronounced as two syllables- though I can see how it would be.
