A women gets the doll from her grandma that she wanted years ago. Creepy things start happening.

"Hey, you ok?"

"No, I just got stabbed by my grandmothers doll! Are you really asking that question right now, mom?"

"Well, sweetheart, it's proven that when someone is stabbed, it's usual to ask if the other person is okay because they're stressed."

"You're stressed, " I yelled, "I just got stabbed by a doll! Think of a different excuse!"

At that point, the doctor came in and shoved my mom out of the door so that he could talk to me in private.

He closed the door and turned to look at me with a sad expression. I saw it and knew that bad news was coming.

The doctor took a deep breath to steady himself and spoke to me in a calm, sympathetic voice.

"You're going to have to stay here for another week so you can heal correctly. The knife went through the bone so we need to monitor it."

He left when I didn't answer. I was too busy looking back as to what got me here.

My grandmother died about a month ago and, instead of giving me money, she gave me her childhood toy, a doll named Bella.

Bella was porcelain with rosy lips, blue eyes, brown hair, blonde hair, a blue lace dress, and dainty blue slippers on her feet.

When I was younger, I wanted to play with her all the time. Now though, I have more important things to do, so she's left on one of my shelves in my bedroom.

One day, I was cleaning the dishes and I heard something fall in my room.

I walked in there and the doll, plus a few books, were on the floor. I sat them back up and decided to lock the door so my cat couldn't knock anything else over.

I was wrong about it being my being my cat. It was something totally different.

I woke up the next day and the doll was missing. I searched everywhere in my room, thinking that I misplaced it.

The sink started running in the kitchen so I thought my sister came in to visit and took the doll.

When I got to the kitchen, I realized that my sister wasn't there. Instead, Bella stood at the sink, watching as water ran off the knife she was holding.

She turned her head all the way around and smiled at me before turning the the rest of her body.

"Hello, Rachel. It's so nice to see you," she said in a honey sweet voice.

She jumped off off the counter with a soft clink and climbed up onto the table that I was standing next to.

She danced towards me and said, "Why don't you want to play with me? I always love to play. I love to play!"

Bella jumped at me with the knife raised towards my heart. I moved at the last minute and it hit my left shoulder instead.

The doll tried to pull the knife out to stab me in the throat but, before she could, I pulled her off of me and threw her across the room where sshattered against the far wall.

I had time to call 911 and tell them what happened before I passed out from the pain.

When I woke up, I was already in the hospital for a little less than a week and had to stay for more.

I finally healed, moved to a different house, and swore to never even look at a doll again.
