I don't really know to explain this one...might not really make sense to anyone.

A black distortion
A twisted reflection
Just what I pretend to be
Or is it me, this shadow I see

It's just me and my shadow
In the sunlight
No way to hide
Away from sight

I find refuge in the darkness
Clouds, my long-lost friend
For here in this gloomy grey
Is my shadow's end

It's just me and my shadow
A vision I don't know
No where I can go
Where it doesn't follow

They all tell me to come
to come into the light
But I will find myself here
here in my dark loneliness
Hypocritically hiding
hiding in my own shadow

Are we who we say we are
Or are we just casting shadows?...
