Blue on Black

Strong fingers wrapped around delicate flesh.

Veins squeeze and collapse.

Blood builds up under the skin,

Making veins expand and balloon.

Bursting, busting.

You busted my veins.

Blood seeps from is line.

Leaking out under my skin,

Creating a beautiful painting of blacks and blues.

You left you mark on me.

Fingerprints burned into my skin like a branding.

Marking me as always yours.

The sweet heat of your skin against my own,

Never leaving my mind.

You are blues

And I am blacks

And together we are bruises waiting to happen.
