There goes my ship of dreams,

My boat of aspirations.

There goes my childhood,

my excitable imagination.

The many wasted moments I spent,

waiting for someone like you.

How was I meant to know

that my heart had so little glue.

There goes my tent of innocence,

the one that I escaped into

when problems arose into their pose

a place to shelter me from the pain.

Now here I am, never alone,

what is is that i've been worried about?

As long as I've got you by my side

i'm free to go with the evening tide.

Be my end. By my light.

Hold on world, but not too tight.
