The clock ticks too fast, the waves glide too slow. Latch onto the mast, don't ever let go.

Fix your eyes on the darkening sky, set your heart on the stars. Feel the moments slipping by, Wrench away the bars.

Bloodless hands upon the railing, for destiny had you baited. on the eastern winds go sailing, dreams that long since faded.

Catch a glimpse of brilliant gold, against the lifeless white. Remember once the soul is sold, redemption is a worthless plight.

Anchor your fears to the ring on you hand, let the fire bring you to your knees. But even your weary soul can withstand, it's ceaseless pitiless pleas.

Descend the stairs of the haunted ship, enter the bleak abyss. hold the memory upon your lip, of a final bitterseet kiss.

Ghostly rests a yellow rose, thorns nailed to the mast. Salvation pauses not for heroes, none can change the past.

Stanced feet set on the oily wood, shed tears for eternal woes. You are to travel where no other could, to learn what no other knows.

The clock ticks too fast, the waves glide too slow. Latch yourself to the mast, they'll never let you go.
