1984 poem of control

Big Brother is watching you

With his deep blue eyes

You feel them as cold as ice

You try to watch him to but all you get is blue

Because it’s just a big emptiness following you

You roll the dice

You take a chance

You get caught

But it’s not too big of a change

You run away, so far, far away

You run so far that even birds can no longer see you

But his big blue eyes still follow you

They watch you to see what you will do

Just to make sure that you are no threat

Cause if you are

He’ll slit your throat

Make it to where you can’t breath

To make sure you cant tell the truth

Cause if you do

Big Brother will kill you

You cant escape

You cannot run

You cannot disappear or run, run, run

All you can do is hide

Hide and cower

But his big blue eyes still follow you

You walk and walk but his blue eyes still follow

You can do nothing but live

Live a sad torturous, demining life of hatred

So you cry and tears flow out

Frustration builds

It pops, cracks and explodes inside you

But the big blue eyes still watch you

They watch you so closely

Making sure you do nothing wrong

You’re treated like an animal

But the eyes still watch you

They stare and stare and never stop

Until the end of time, when you are not there
