I was just so happy, I HAD to write something. Here it is. A little different from my past works.

The heart sinking pain has faded.

Now replaced by a happiness almost unknown.

Her presence brings warmth to my cold, fragile heart,

A bright smile to my face.

A voice like that of an angel,

A smile so disarming.

My dreams might even now be clear,

Frightful images of pain and loneliness

Turning to ones of resolute enjoyment.

How even the thought of her, this walking angel,

Heats my barely there soul.

I find myself flying

Up out of the dark abyss I once inhabited

And into her warm eyes.

The eyes of a walking angel.
