Where the asphalt meets the cobblestone

I’ll find the place that I call home

The ocean swirls in the air

Trees traverse the sky and dare

To meet the stars above the bay

Where the fearless billows lay

In all the world I’d never know

Anything that comes or goes

That I can see with such delight

Such as it is this genial sight

Through it I understand a nest

And thus appreciate the rest
