Popular Girl

Poem by: Candymyne

Summary

you're a popular girl...

who will love you? (use you?)

who will care? (throw you away)

who can see what's inside? (such a sexy body)

understanding comes easy. (wants to feel real)

when you're a popular girl..

such a pretty girl.

such lonely eyes.

such a cozy life!

so good, so nice.

lovely smiles and good times.

you party, the worry dies.

such a pretty girl.

so cute and care free.

the envy of others.

what a wonderful life!

cute guys romance you.

what a popular girl, so cool and so awesome!

(such a sad cover up)

no one knows..

what you feel.

you cry, you hurt. (drown in misery)

feel so much pain. (hurt by loved ones)

pretty girl, envy of others. (jealous)

hate your body. (disgusting)

family, fake love on the surface.

so insecure, hateful commentary.

romancing guys want one thing.

envy of others? (fake star)

drama of your life!

you cry out for help! (friend's ignorance)

cry out for love. (deceitful men)

friends and family cant see tears running inside.

smile in the morning. (wake up in pain)

cries out at night. (bombarding stress)

oh sweet girl who will listen? (ignorant ears)

against a tsunami of hate! (they smile at you)

you barely survive. (weak train of thought)

everything's against you. (no outreaching hands)

beautiful flower, stuck in a swamp. (such crap in your life)

such easy pleasures (the drinks, the dust, you dance)

small bits of happiness. (tiny spot-light)

climb up the latter.. (such a cool girl)

you're a popular girl...

who will love you? (use you?)

who will care? (throw you away)

who can see what's inside? (such a sexy body)

understanding comes easy. (wants to feel real)

when you're a popular girl..

what a strong flower.

stuck in a swamp. (life)

move on, move on (there are other swamps)

sweet girl, independent and strong. (weakness in your eyes)

needs no protecting! (just want to be held)

such a popular girl (hateful jealousy)

knows what she wants (no direction)

oh sweet girl, who will see whats inside? (beautiful body)

how long will you call out?

fallow your dreams. (no way out)

make a new life. (cant start alone)

start over again. (not so easy)

and find a new light. (let it blind you)

when will you realize? (open your eyes!)

you were never alone...

someone's been listening... (such a mindless drone)

your eyes are blind...

you toy with his heart...

he's been waiting for you. (always been there!)

he's been there when you cried. (shared your laughter)

has a guy just for you. (no treachery!)

been calling your name. (come to me)

protector of your life. (deadly swamp)

call out! say his name! (invite)

open your heart, you can trust. (wont let you down)

show what happiness is.. (show real love)

oh look up sweet girl, call out to him.

you deserve to be happy.

time to reset.

time to smile for real oh popular girl.
