Engrossed within a quiet pace.
Swift strikes, cunning curves,
dainty chills forming strong holds
of mothers throat.

Full breaths brim over for
loafers stand, staring, unavailing
to mother’s cry. Frigid fingers
clench, side to side.

Billows dawn over moon.
Gaia plunged mercilessly
into abyss, far passing
Hour’s darkest oeuvre.

Currents surround all open arms.
Unquestionable forgiveness shall
exist past moments followed.
Winter takes all life; I am born again.
