sort of a "break-up" poem... think of a Taylor Swift song. Yeah.

I really did believe you'd be the one

That if I gave you a second chance

Things would change

You would change

But that was all in my head

I have to hold in my dread

As I watch you love another

As you hold hands with a different lover

Did you know I would kill for that to be me?

Did you know I'd do anything for you to see?

I feel true lust when I think of you

I can't glance for a moment or my heart will skip

But it seems I can't trust someone like you

So I've stood up to give you a tip

If you love me, tell me

Say it right now

Say it out loud

Then hold me tonight as we fall asleep

Bring me up from this hole that's so deep

Then don't let me down

Make me yours, then stick around

I've waited long enough

Stayed tough

Tonight is only our love
