A poem I wrote about the second Pirates of The Caribbean movie a few years back.

The darkness is falling

There's no more stalling

Hand distorted by a mark

That's black and dark

To flea

From the sea

The word of love

Spoken not by a dove

But by a witch

With a spirit so rich

Tales are told

Land to hold

A challenge is spoke

Destiny starts to choke

1 taken 99 required

The devil is growing tired

These games begin to bore

Driven by her core

She traps the sparrow

Pain and longing grow

He wants to fly free

And it's with him she wants to be

To worlds end they must travel

Reality begins to unravel

Cursed, not cursed, dead, and alive

The captain is now there to thrive

Apple in hand smile on face

Monkey on shoulder hat in place

Came in two left as one

Free the sparrow and be done
