On the edge of your mind

Wavering, gently swaying

Toward one choice, hastily made

One foot on,

One foot off

Should I jump and take a chance?

Or should I dive and possibly die?

Advice, advice, nothing more

Leave me alone now, for I cannot choose

Too difficult, I need to know

Should I leap or should I stop?

Risky decisions, running through consquences

Listening to the angel on your right shoulder and the devil on your left

Just as you are about to hold back,

You trip, and fall

With a crash, you land on the ground,

Crumpled, disappointed,

No more.
