I walk into the room, and what do I see,
Two little children as cute as can be.

One is Logan, the other Gracie,
Playing with toys quite contently.

Mommy they say, can you read us a book,
I said come on lets take a look.

One wants this, and one wants that,
I said come on know put those back.

I find a book that we always read,
Before its time for them to sleep.

We sit down together in their room,
We open the book to see its cartoons.

One by one the pages fly,
And one by one the minutes tick by.

It seems like an eternity, sitting there together,
As we look at this book bound in leather.

Before you know it, I look to see,
Two little children fast asleep.
