Written after the realisation that I'm worth more than I ever thought before.

I once thought my worth could be measured
In the quality of an embrace
Or the tone of a voice
And the softness of a face.

I once thought I could measure,
The goodness of life
On whether the clouds were white
Or if my world was littered with strife.

But now I know my worth is infinite
And the world stays beautiful
No matter how estranged I am from its light.
