you were mad at me,

pulled my steely strings like fast elastic

and weren't we snapping!,

was she fast and high and oiled leather seats?

in freeze red faces.

i breathing child cold qualms white on glass

drawing negative frost pictures with

blue-pinkish fingers

and

you were at my smudge, conveniently declaring

indelibility.

is she here like us even now? this i blurt like hot coffee within mind and throat. notice the stain of flush spread like sunrise over my cheeks and thighs.

is she the incubating snow?

well, i'll peek through like crooked clothes-wire

reception.

is she cold static?,

i loved you so,

you empty peacoat, you numb fuzzy radiator!

but you grow as green grassblades beneath

her

am i just cheap quivering hanger, like i feel creeping

old-blues-euphony

up my antenna spine?
