Swallowed by a deep sea of exhaustion,
Horrid thoughts and wonders flood into my dreary mind.
Over bound by waves of darkness,
Light of day is lost from my blinded sight.
The dark mares of the night close in, seeking dreams to destroy.
The dawn savoir seems so far.
Then out of the darkness, a brush of golden pink and sun kissed orange paints over the star speckled blanket.
Finding myself in a surrounding sheet of wondrous beauty,
The sea of exhaustion far behind,
Only to find me once more by the sea's dreadful tide.
