Just a poem I wrote:) I hope you enjoy

Nightmares haunt my sleep,

No pleasant dreams for me,

No sugarplums and fairy dust,

But just a haunting sleep,

I have hoped and wished,

For them to go away,

But when I close my eyes and rest,

They're hard to keep away,

I am awake at night,

Because a haunted sleep is not a restful one,

I awake in tears,

Because they are so vivid,

Scary clowns and heights,

And more phobias await,

For me to close my eyes,

And sleep.

I hope this is not true for you. But nonetheless, I really enjoyed the way you wrote this. A haunting and eerie feel.
