What do you do,

When you thought what you really wanted,

Causes you great strain.

When you finally where able to grasp that dream,

Its harder than it seemed,

And now it is your worst nightmare,

And it is driving you insane.

You thought all you needed was to get out,

Now what you want is home.

Like these emotions are growing,

And you are alone.

You thought you were strong,

But now the tears come faster,

And your pride is too stubborn,

And refuses to let you run.

Now you know how to put on a smile,

While inside your heart is crying,

Inside you are dying,

To take it all back,

To take that road more traveled by,

To throw the risk away.

I need the strength to make it through,

I have the strength,

I’ve found this to be true,

And that others feel the same.

And I will make it,

We will make it,

Sticking it out till the end,

But this experience would be unbearable,

If I hadn’t had your hand along the way.
