Just a poem I wrote a LONG time ago...so bear with me if it sucks. Once you read it, it's kind of self-explanatory.

What’s a word?
What’s a name?
What’s a face?
Same old same.
What is love?
What is hate?
What is now?
What’s too late?
Too late for hurt,
Too late for lies,
Too late for me,
Too late for cries.
What’s now is then,
What’s then is gone,
What’s gone is scared,
To ever come.
Come back to you,
Come back to us,
Come back to something it can’t trust.
Trusting’s nothing,
Caring’s nothing,
Loving’s nothing,
Fearing’s something.
Fearing something that’s always there,
Fearing something that shouldn’t scare.
Fearing love, and fearing you,
My scarring heart has torn in two.
No longer whole because of you.
