wow that poem was really good. very well-written. i love your verse lengths and how you rhymed them. and it definitely makes a clear statement about our country's current situation. *sigh* sometimes i think that no matter who gets elected next, they are going to be walking into so much of a mess that they are going to be completely disliked by the country no matter what they do about it.

Wed, July 9th, 2008 12:22amIt's a good poem. I enjoyed it and it makes sense.
Wed, July 9th, 2008 12:41amdamn straight
flowed nicely
iv always thought this country is fucked up
I like the poem. It was very cool. I disagree with you that everything is Bush's fault (don't get me wrong, he's a moron and a terrible president), but Congress keeps approving everything. Although what they approve starts with Bush...Then again, I could argue with myself for hours about the political aspects of it.
You did a great job getting your message across, and it had a wonderful...sounds good-ness...
Of course, every candidate right now is also an evil moron, so no doubt you'll be able write something else great like this again.
You can really write! I love it, actually it reflects most of the things we do at night,(Secrets). Keep it up.

It really speaks about how much pain George Bush has caused.
Wonderful.
xx
Outstanding really..I like your style. And great job making a not so happy topic sound so good. Really well done. Really really.

Wed, July 23rd, 2008 1:43pmNice work. Of course it's a shame so many people neglect Bush's right-hand man, The Vice President Dick Chaney aka, Dr. Evil. That guy, in alot of ways, is every bit as guilty as Bush.
Thu, July 24th, 2008 10:01pmAwesome,Awesome! Thats the kind of poetry I like. Cold, Dark and Dangerously Descriptive :-)
Tue, August 5th, 2008 6:51amI must say a very good piece, and how sad that it rings do true, we have two men, Bush and Cheney who basically destroyed all this Nation was built on, in eight short years, now we have 2 canidates and their runningmates who show no promise at all, and all four of them are rife with scandal and continuly sling mud at one another or lie, and thanks to the media, the whole damn election has become something like a realty t.v. popularity contest show.
God help us and the world, when it comes to whoever runs this nation after November.
Ok well to start with the poem itself. I really really liked this. Being a republican who DOESNT hate Bush, and a mother of a son who spent last year in Iraq, I read this not even realizing people were attributing it to his administration. I read it from a different point of view I guess. When you used the word "you" I assumed you ment like, all government and all people. Or basically anyone in power. I stand by what I said, I really liked this. I was moved by it and I think it was written well.
Sat, October 4th, 2008 2:54amI liked it. Very well written and a good flow. :-) I like your poems. Really do. Hope you can get some time out to read some of mine. ;-o
