Darkness

A Silver Kiss poem.

Down to darkness I retreat

The only home I know

I wish you could see me now

That would be a show

With a heart of ice

I think of you

What you’d say to me

Only if you knew the truth

Of just what I can be

As dawn breaks through

The boarded room

Of misery and despair

I think of you

One last time

And wonder how you’d fare

If you knew of my secret,

If you knew of this lie

Would you still want to love me?

Or would you want me to die?

Thanks! It's a really awesome book by Annette Curtis Klaus. It's the classic, 'I fell in love with a Vampire, but we can't be together' type of thing. It's really good, though--a quick read:)

Very nice. Makes me wonder who the writer is... Vampire maybe? Since I dont know who Simon is I may have to check out the novel. BY THE WAY... you created a monster and you dont even know it. Because of "Sibling Rivelry" , and your suggestion, I read "Twilight". I immediatly was addicted. I have read them a million times now, and more. I just read the "Vampire Academy" serious. It was no "Twilight" but I still pretty well enjoyed it. I personally think you deserve to be compensated from Stephanie Myers because I have addicted, no joke, about 70 ppl at my job and most all my family. Males and Females LOL!
Anyhow.. another great job, sorry for the long comment!

Thank you:) Hmm...maybe you'll have to read the book. It's really good. :D And, yay! More Twilighters! heehee. My evil plan is in progress...haha, jk. ;) I'm glad you like it! woo hoo! And long comments are good--I love them!

Oh, and if you're looking for ANOTHER great read, I'd recommend The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Stephenie Meyer recommended it, so I read it, and it's REALLY good. It's nothing like Twilight, but it's fantastic in every other way. :D
