Some of us enjoy the ride

And never think the worse.

Others fear the twists and turns,

Life's burdens are a curse.

Curiously we board the ride

Awaiting all its thrill.

But some of us get terrified

And start to feel quite ill.

Along the way

Some throw up their arms

While others cower and shrink.

"The ride is meant to cause us harm",

They cannot help but think.

No matter our reactions,

The ride eventually stops.

What's the fun if we don't smile,

For all the loops and drops?
