Wonderful, imperfect gems:

Life, laughter, love!

Yet we don't realize

'Til push comes to shove.

With one, I can write,

Breathe, talk, sing!

Yet some rid themselves, displeased

With what the future brings.

With one, there is light,

A thing so true and good.

And yet it sits dusty,

Underused, misunderstood.

With one, there is pleasure,

The joy of a fellow.

We complain its fleeting presence,

Yet, without it, Earth's a hellhole.

Without one of three,

Life has no pretension.

We care not for flawed gems,

Why give us perfection?
