Awakened spirits Chapter 1

The smell of fresh crisp air travelled through his senses. The feeling of belonging flowing through his heart. He could hear the bustle of the busy streets below him. Without knowing where he was going, without the knowing of why. Raising higher and higher, The wind blowing through his hair, his skin, his veins. A light was shining in the distance, A light brighter than any other light he had ever seen. The light he had seen so many times. Why could he never reach the light? He asks himself. His body was feeling lighter than a feather , flowing elegantly in the breeze. The warm glow from the light shimmering within his eyes. The glow was enough to warm even the coldest souls. He had been here before. He had felt this before, but never managed to succeed. He wanted nothing more than to reach this golden light that made him feel so loved and wanted. He could see the city lights changing in the distance, the sounds of sirens bellowing from not to far away. The city was always full of danger and crime. So many people corrupted by the dark. Why could no one else see this light, or even to feel its warmth loving glow. So many people just walking without knowing, without belief. Just as he was close to his destination, The wind became more ferocious. The air around him was getting to cold and unbearable. The light slowly started to dim. A black cloud was filling the sky multiplying the closer he was getting. He could not hear the sounds of the city below him anymore, he couldn’t see any lights. He could only hear the noise that was being created within the soon to be black sky. Water droplets circulating the clouds turning into a big thick mist. He tried to make his way through the new born storm, but the light was no longer able to guide his way. He was lost with no hope. The cloud was making a low frequented sound. A hole was developing right in the centre of the cloud. A blue glow emitted from the core. He did not know what to do, or what he should do. His body started to get heavy. He could not hold himself any longer. He started to fall deeper and deeper. The wind was getting harder shooting water droplets towards him. The water was hitting him so hard, it felt like knives puncturing his skin. He closed his eyes, calling something in the distance. ‘help me’ he screamed. The blue glow from the cloud now filling the sky. A sound now so high was piercing through his ears. Rain started falling from the sky as fast as he could feel himself falling. He opened his eyes to see the blue light now approaching. Faster and faster. His body still falling fast. The blue light surrounding his body. He thought to himself ‘anytime now i am going to hit the floor. Please someone help me ? Please god help?’ The blue light was touching his skin. He could not open his eyes , it was to bright. He could still feel his body falling, but he also felt this was not the end. The blue light was protecting him. He could feel the energy of the light flowing through his body. His body somehow feeling stronger. A voice came from within the blue light. ‘i have helped you son, you have been blessed.’ Without any more words and without warning, His body hit the floor with a sudden stop. The rain fell from the sky covering the body now lying on the floor. The blue light entering through the top of his head making its way through his body reaching his heart. His heart was beating faster than ever. His head was spinning making him feel quite nauseous. Spinning faster and faster until everything faded to black.
