" I Love You ",

Three words i never heard,

Three words which made me wonder,

If you ever really cared?

Three words never spoken,

In the air, they always hung,

Three words from a lovesong,

A lovesong never sung.

Three words that passed my lips,

In a tender loving voice,

Three words, " I Love You ",

Spoken out of choice.

Three words which broke my heart,

And told me how you felt,

Three words which also told me,

What fate, to me,had dealt.

A broken heart,

A damaged pride,

These everlasting words,

Now, forever, i will hide.
