To be a mother,

It seems so unreal,

It's amazing how much,

And how strong you can feel.

All these different emotions,

Excitement, fear,

Mostly happiness,

Because my baby's finally here!

He's one month old now,

And I love him so much,

He's cuddly and warm,

And soft to the touch!

I can't explain how it feels,

When I look at him  sleeping,

My heart just flips,

It feels like I'm dreaming!

I never knew what pride was,

Until my son arrived,

And I'll do anything to protect him,

As long as I'm alive.

" It's the best feeling in the world, "

People always told me,

I never quite realised,

How intense those feelings would be.

I'm a mother to a beautiful baby boy!

I'm so proud i could burst!

I'm completely happy,

And I'll tell you that's a first!

The world's a better place!

My baby is my dream!

I never thought it possible,

How much i Love my Cian!
