The cowboy isn't who you expected him to be.

In a dark little bar

I the long hot summer
In the crazy ol' wild west
He came
Drunk

With those torn up boots
With those shining spurs
And that huge hat
And that red bandana
Covering up the unseen face
He came

'Get me a drink, you slut, you whore'
He kicks the barista
'I'm livin' just to see you die'
Pulls out a pistol
The barista looks scared
'Ya heard me girly'

Barista has a mind and gun of her own
'No one tell me what to do
They both shoot
Blood
gushing
on
the wall

The cowboys bandana
The blood soaked bandana
falls
off
He is not a man
But a girl. Not a woman

The others say
'Two pretty girls dead, what
a shame'
That is how girls
kill
each
other

Ehhhhh....what just happened? That doesn't really go very well with any of the history I know. Added to that: how exactly do you get to the point of two gun-totin' women--with anger issues, which does not happen so often as one might think?
