This is the first thing i ever wrote it's just something small about an english girl that has been kidnapped in portugal It's not very good i think but i did it for Madelaine McCann!!

A world gone mad murderous and cruel,

life becomes dangerous devoid of rule,

where a man out in a foreign land,

enters a girls life taking her hand,

takes her away from all that she knows,

leaving her parents to suffer the blows,

and two young siblings innocent so long,

can't understand where their sister has gone.

It's a human thing to be overcome with sadness,

these bad men must pay for their madness,

their morals are gone,it makes no sense,

to take a child and her innocence,

i pray that God takes command and

rules these men by his hand,

and returns this poor girl to her clan,

i pray for you , Maddy McCann

I can't believe this was your first poem! For a first, it's excellent! I wrote one for Madeleine as well but I'm not too proud to admit that yours was a lot better! Well Done.

What a touching and thoughtful poem.
Why would someone do this? Take an innocent child away from 'all she knows' and expect her parents to suffer. I know they've arrested a man in connection with the kidnapping - but I hope that leads to something. It's been too long. My heart goes out to her parents. I could never wish for my worst enemy to go through such pain.

PS - This is such a good poem for someone's first - you really have talent - keep up the good work.

Yes it's a horrible world we live in! Yeah they have a man but if he did have her she's been moved on by now i imagine. I fear we may never know what has happened her i just hope that these people die screaming. Even that would be too good for them! Thanks for your lovely comments! Lets just keep hoping that Maddy will be found!!

Chamaner:

Well written and most emotionally gripping. Good job.

Sad and tragic, child sex trafficing/slavery has now become big business. Even in the U.S.

Now we can never let our children out of our sight.

Happy trails,

Ed Bradley.

I thought it was an excellent piece, and is very moving. It's a shame this happened, and continues to happen, in every country. It has been a while and things may not turn out well for the family, but sometimes all we have to hold onto is hope.

Thanks for the poem.

Thanks Lance! Poor Maddy is too well known now for these people to hold onto her so this is going to end with them either killing her or letting her go and i pray to god it's the latter! Thanks again!

This couldn't possibly be the first thing you've ever wrote, because it is remarkably good. You wrote with feeling, you were able to convey your outrage at such injustice-- you've touched many hearts, and made people sit up and take notice-- I think those are clear indicators of how good your poem is.

Take care,

T.

Some of us are not fully human.
Whatever happened is dark in our deep conscious.
How? Why?
Every child, everyone in all this so small world ruled by usura and low animal brain hunt, ... , how can this occur?
