His gaze, like liquid green fire stared at the sky. A cliff directly below him as his right foot kicked a small stone off the side, only to hear the satisfying clink of rock against rock. His dark brown, nearly black hair dusted at eye level, drawing more attention to his focused eyes. His jaw was clenched, oh how he wished to jump, he wasn't a pathetic human. No he was, as some would call him, an angel thanks to the angel wings that were hidden on his back.

An Eagle flew above as if beckoning him to the sky above, to the freedom that called out to him. He wished he could join the magnificent bird right then and their, but he forced himself to remain still using every once of self-control he possessed.

The eagle screeched over and over again, its call burying itself deep within his mind, body, and soul. Why was he doing this to himself? Why was he continually tortuing himself by remaining bound to the earth, like a plain human? He wondered why he did this to himself...

Without a second thought he leaned forward just as the tatters from his once there obsidian black shirt fell to the ground. Gravity tugged him towards the waiting rocks below, eager to have him. But at the last minute he snapped his wings open and veered upward, glorying in the feel of his wings beating along side his arms. Ropes of expertly toned muscle decorated his upper body, as well as his hidden lower body. He flew towards the cliff he had just leapt off of and smiled to himself. The eagle came alongside him and circled in wide turns around him, watching him with interest. He was free... Never to be bound again by the human chains of the world.
