Walking through town on a tuesday,

i notice a man in the street,

he looks a bit "gin" and he's got a big grin

but he doesn't have shoes on his feet.

Nobody's looking but everyone's looking

but nobody's stopping for sure.

The man's off his trolley,

he swings a broke brolly,

like that's what broke brollys are for.

I think "oh what a pity"

his life must be shitty at best,

but he's laughing and singing his brolly a' swinging

his mind setting sail for the west.

And looking around,

all the faces in town

as he casually roots through a bin.

Well, i'm looking around,

everyone's got a frown,

and the only one smiling is him.
