I wrote this for my youngest son who is two and a half. At the age of one and a half he had to have heart surgery and I was terrified. The good Lord above knew I need him more and gave thankfully gave the doctors the ability to fix his heart without complications. He is truely my miracle baby.

When I held you for the first time, I was overwhelmed with happiness and joy.

A 6lb 8oz, blue eyed, blond headed. tiny and beautiful baby boy.

My sweet little angel sent from the heavens above,

For me to care for and give all my love.

You had to have surgery through the doctors the Lord fixed your heart.

Miracles happen, I believe you have been one from the start.

I thank the Lord for everyday that I am bessed with to watch you grow.

All the triumphs we have been through in your two years of life, allow faiths true power to show.

I'm proud to be your mother and always will  be.

This I know, you and the whole world can truely see.

Son, mommy can't promise life will be fair or easy but I can promise , I'll forever be here for you.

To help you up when you fall, be a shoulder to cry on, and give my unconditional love.

Hopefully to make you a loving man man this will be enough.
