I wrote this in memory of my grandpa who passed away August 03,2006. He meant so much to me in my life. It is hard to except that he is gone.

Even though I know you're in a better place, I continue to wipe the tears from my face.

Maybe someday I will no longer cry, and just take comfort in knowing it was your bodies time to die.

You are an angel now, this I know, we will meet again when it's my spirits time to go.

Until then watch over me, I hope you are my guardian angel, because for you I would be.

I miss you sometimes it's more than I can bare, the pain I feel for the times we will no longer share.

Thinking of the talks and memories with you, seem to help me get through.

You will never be completely gone, for in my heart you will forever live on.

I will not let your memory fade away, I promise to think of you each day.

With time this break in my heart will heal, this sorrow I can't help but feel.

Your impression and imprint you left on many, to everyone you gave plenty.

Knowing you loved me gives me such pride, you were always there when I needed you on my side.

No one will ever take your place, for every day I miss your smiling face.

My life will never be the same, but I know like grandma, an angel with wings you became.
