Dance Alone

Feel of good times

Jump around alone

The music penetrates your body

Permeates your ears

Turn the music up louder

Dance with the music alone

If you’re in a chair

Bounce in your seat

To that one song

It lifts you up

You were feeling down

Then there was the music you turned on

So you jump and dance

Forget the day

Alone in your room

You dance to the beat

For four minutes

You are free

The music stops

You sweat from the jumping and dancing

Wipe your brow

Then the next song rings in your head

Listen a moment in wait

Do you like this song in thought

Throw on a smile and be excited

You swing your arms around

You jump and dance

Alone in your room

All is forgotten in the beat

As we all dance alone in our room
