Why aren't you as happy as the happy?

This is an ode to The Happy.

The exuberant, exhilarated minds of this elevated time.

The merry miracle workers, making most magical things.

We have all faced harrowing hardships,

stared sadness in the eye

They seem oblivious to other's storminess

The Happy, they do

The difference is that they pushed, and pulled through

Outpacing sadness is what they do

The absence of marks on their arms prove its true

For all of you whose hope is lost

The dreams of which, aside they've been tossed

You get mad! "That's unfair!"

"They're fulfilled and I'm not at all happy"

They will show you the way

They harrowed the path and came out again

to lead you to Happy they'll stop at no end

believing in them is bound to no trend

It happens every day and every night, they get you through tough times

They're still standing here for ya' don't keep them waiting

They care for the sad, lonely and and depressed

I know it's true, they help rest

Because I am Happy, one pioneer among many

no marks on my arm, and my eyes aren't running

I listened to what they said and hey, look, I'm fine

This is an Ode To The Happy

And as well you can be

If you push and pull your way through

But listen to them, for they will push too
