What if what is today, is not to be?
You wake up no longer in love with me?
These eyes no longer set upon your own
Your feelings waver and I feel alone.
Just day-to-day life would be found so hard
Torn at the seams, my life would fall apart.
Double-taking strangers, to see your face
Your kindness and charm, I could not replace.
As each day goes by I count my blessings
Because our love brings all of the best things.
You encourage flight when clipped are my wings
So I'll always know why the wild bird sings
Somedays I find hard, and I feel down;
But it seems less heavy when you're around.
For my soulmate <3
