Often alone, but not lonely
Friends surround this old tree
Wind whispers neighborhood gossip aloud
I waver with Laughter incessantly

Fickle Rain visits by chance
Grass, Soil, intertwine in dance
If ever two Loved--thee
Gazing below, green with Envy

Ominous Sun of warmth, glee
Birds perch and preach melodies
In your complete absence I
Would Die! My dearest companion

Then Night turns chameleon Skies
Lie under Moon's watchful eye
Life friends--all I need
Alone, but not lonely indeed

Often alone, but not lonely
Friends surround this old tree
Wind whispers neighborhood gossip aloud
I waver with Laughter incessantly

Fickle Rain visits by chance
Grass, Soil, intertwine in dance
If ever two Loved--thee
Gazing below, green with Envy

Ominous Sun of warmth, glee
Birds perch and preach melodies
In your complete absence I
Would Die! My dearest companion

Then Night turns chameleon Skies
Lie under Moon's watchful eye
Life friends--all I need
Alone, but not lonely indeed
