Falling further and further,

deeper and deeper,

Words you’ve said,

Sinking you to the bottom.

Life itself collapses.

The words you utter under your breath,

unveil the fear in your heart,

You don’t know who you’ve become.

Mask you’ve worn,

Tugging at reality.

Strings of truth,

specks of personality,

Begins to show through.

You’re cordially invited,

To the masquerade.

Deny, deny, deny,

It’s a sick charade.

How puzzling,

The facade you wear,

Isn’t it amazing?
