Platinum.

The eyes that captivate me.

Holding me.

Watching me.

Fingertips trace the shadows under my eyes.

Fire.

The blaze that ignites within me.

Scalding me.

Scorching me.

Needles dig into my flesh, more pain.

Venom.

The metallic substance destroys me.

Creating me.

Changing me.

Ceasing the Human that once was.

Weight.

The anvil that presses down on me

Shoves me.

Shakes me.

Taking away air from my lungs.

Life.

The blood that courses within me.

Invigorates me.

 Enlivens me.

Keeps my heart pulsing.

Blood.

The intense desire tempts me.

Steals me.

Captivates me.

Awakens the monster from within.
