Anxiety

She has them fooled They think she’s strong Keeps pushing on

But they don’t know How she sits and cries All alone at night

They don’t know The pain she feels How she wants to die

She wishes she was strong That she could let go of the pain But every single night The anxiety wraps her up so tight

She wakes up every morning Wanting to rip out her guts They don’t know she feels crazy That they are the reason For all her pain

She takes the pills She does the work But no matter how hard she tries The creeping monster Won’t let go its grip

She still has them fooled They watch her and wonder What it is she ponders

How can she be so strong? She never lets on She never lets on
