I'm sorry I may push you to do things you do not want to do

I'm sorry I put you in situations you can not admit to

I'm sorry I make you feel like a horrible person

In my mind is a completely different version

I'm sorry I may be ruining a relationship between you and a close friend

I'm sorry you are forced so often to pretend

But I'll never be sorry for the way you make me feel

Because at least for me, these feelings are very real

I'll never be sorry for the smiles you put on my face

You have put me in a much happier place

I'll never be sorry for the good times we share

I won't even be sorry when I'm left in despair

Because soon I know you will come to realize

I'm not as good as you originally visualized

I've learned not to take good things for granted

So till you make me leave, my heart and mind will stay planted
