My life and whether he can handle it

Little girl had it all,
Though still felt she had nothing.
A mother, a father && 4 big sisters
But still felt alone.
Growing up in a family with hardly no love, no faith and no freedom.
A prisoner to the fighting,
The pain,
&& the suffering.
Social workers coming in && out
Trying to rescue the kids
Who lied to their faces,
Trying to save a hopeless cause.
This family will always be a mess,
Always be a let down.
Parents drank to much,
Ignored the little girl who needed them the most.
Battling her Demons alone,
Fighting off bullies,
Never thought her mommy && daddy would be the ones to make her cry.
Because of them she grew up thinking she was ugly, fat,
Stupid && worthless.
She felt unwanted, unloved and abandoned.
No one wanted her around,
Her friends turned their backs,
Everyone pushed her around,
Slammed against lockers.
She was terrified to live,
Terrified to leave her room.
She wanted to be alone,
She wanted to be gone.
Found comfort in a blade.
Drinking to numb her pain.
Hiding behind anger,
Rage became her outlet.
Love wasn't in her plans,
Love never seemed to exist.
Those who said I love you
Were left in the dust.
Afraid to fall,
Afraid to be hurt.
Wanted a man
Who'd never lie,
Never mistreat her
Always love her.
Now that she's found that person,
Now that she's allowed herself to truly love.
Nothing terrifies her more.
All her insecurities come flooding back,
She doesn't want to destroy this
Beautiful && Fragile love.
Feels like she tries to much,
Doesn't wanna be clingy,
Doesn't want him to get sick
Of her.
She truly believes they'll be together for such a long time.
Hoping he'll feel the same way.
Hoping he can handle everything She is.

Hey really enjoyed your poem but I suggest working on the spacing. Also check out Creature Within if you have time but I really enjoyed your poem. Rather deep and personal. Keep up the good work! :)

Listen, I have been writing since I was 10... I'm 21 now.
I am glad you enjoyed it but I do not need suggestions or anything like that but thanks.
