Should have realized it sooner.
Should have learned faster.
Should have known better.
Should be wiser.

It’s not a story book.
It’s hard reality.
No one will save you.
It’s every man for himself.

You’re just baggage.
You weigh them down.
Pick up yourself,
Or be trampled.

There’s no man out there who is really a rescuer.
You’re on your own.
By yourself.
No help.

Get over it.
Deal with it.
You take care of yourself,
Or you can just lay there and bleed.

You’re a train wreck,
Don’t you realize?
Good men deserve good women.
Not someone’s tossed out garbage.

Do you get it yet?
Learn quick or be hurt.
You can’t trust,
So you’re no good.

Quit pretending.
Things will never be normal.
If you want to be happy you do it for yourself.
You are alone.

Quit praying for a miracle.
They’re humans,
You’re not hardly like them.
You might as well be from another planet.

Just quit pretending!
You’re too afraid of another broken heart.
Don’t hurt them just to prove yourself wrong or right.
Give up.

All you’ve known is pain and fear.
You don’t know how to not be afraid.
You’re not worthy.
Just stop.

It’s so obvious.
It’s right there in front of you.
There are no happy endings.
You’re on your own.

You stupid,
Stupid girl.
