Reachelle

Reachelle you're missed so much,
It hurts inside
I feel as though a part of me
Has been washed away with the tide
I wish I could see you like I did before
I remember how I found you
Hiding behind that door
You smiled at me and beckoned me near
The secrets that you whispered to me
I have held dear
I know in my heart you are alive and well
I wish those that have you
Would trust me and tell
Your mommy loves you and wants you home
All they have to do is pick up a phone
Your auntie is praying, she loves you so
Please oh please, bring Reachelle home
Your grandma's love knows no bounds
She has wept and prayed without a sound
Your daddy thinks about you all the time
Taking you away from us was an unspeakable crime
Reachelle you've been gone 18 months
Our hearts are weary from aching so much
Not a day goes by that I don't think of you
I keep hoping and praying and believing for you
Remember the time you ran down the hall
You ran so fast, I thought you might fall
You smiled so big and jumped into my arms
You kissed my cheek, I knew you hadn't been harmed
You are so special, you've touched my heart
It's been that way right from the start
You're 5 years old now, you're growing up so fast
I can hardly wait until you're home at last
Special girl, smart girl, pretty girl too
Do you have any idea how much we all miss you
So now as I write this, I reach out to the ones
Who have brought clouds into our lives and taken our sun
Please won't you please reach deep inside
Find it in your hearts to swallow your pride
Please, for God's sake, do what is right
Bring Reachelle home, right now, tonight!
If you think for one second, we're going to give in
This fight isn't over, we're going to WIN!
Reachelle we love you more than you know
We won't rest until you're safe at home
